Morocco King in another rare visit to disputed Western Sahara

Morocco's King Mohammed VI arrived in Laayoune, the main city of the Saharan Province on Friday, the latest trip by the north African leader to the disputed territory.

This is King Mohammed VI’s second trip to the Sahara in less than three months, after he visited the region on November 6 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Green March, an event that commemorates its independence from Spain.
