LG MS1 La Garma Cave

This digital video was created using photogrammetric modelling of a painted panel in La Garma cave in northern Spain. It was created by Aaron Watson with soundtrack by Rupert Till. WIth kind permission of Gobierno De Cantabria. The cave is part of the Cave of Altamira and Paleolithic Cave Art of Northern Spain. These hand stencils are probably more than 25,000 years old, and are in a section of the cave far from the original entrance.

A tour of the paleolithic rock art paintings in the caves of Altamira, northern Spain. Beautiful artwork, though our visit was dampened quite a bit by hordes of noisy teenagers, and viewing replicas isn't quite as exciting as viewing the real thing. Alas!
